Job Description

Turner & Townsend is seeking a Senior Scheduler to work as the lead scheduler for a large $750M Healthcare Project - 5 days a week on site required in Mission Viejo California.

Responsibilities:

Develop and manage detailed master project schedules using industry-standard scheduling tools (Primavera P6).

Integrate engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and closeout activities into a cohesive project timeline.

Lead schedule development workshops with project teams, subcontractors, and stakeholders.

Perform critical path analysis , schedule risk assessments, and scenario planning.

Monitor project progress and update schedules based on actual performance and field input.

Identify schedule variances, delays, and potential risks; recommend mitigation strategies.

Prepare and present schedule reports, dashboards, and executive summaries to senior leadership and clients.

Support claims analysis, delay analysis (e.g., Time Impact Analysis), and dispute resolution when required.

Ensure compliance with contract requirements, company standards, and industry best practices.

Promote continuous improvement in scheduling processes.

Qualifications

Degree in Construction Management, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

10+ years of relevant experience in construction scheduling/planning & Management.

Strong proficiency in Primavera P6 (required); familiarity with other scheduling and project controls tools is a plus.

Demonstrated experience on construction projects (Healthcare Preferred).

Deep understanding of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling techniques.

Experience with cost and resource loading, earned value management (EVM), and schedule forecasting.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.

Strategic thinking and planning

Attention to detail and data accuracy

Leadership and team collaboration

Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines

Strong reporting and presentation skills

Preferred Qualifications

Familiarity with risk analysis tools (e.g., Monte Carlo simulation).

Familiarity with contract @types (lump sum, GMP, cost-plus) and their scheduling implications.

Experience in multi-project or program-level scheduling environments.

Familiarity with Power BI

Additional Information

The salary range for this full-time role is $160K-$190K per year . Ranges are determined by role and level and represent a good faith effort to provide a fair and equitable salary. This range is a reflection of base salary only, not of a total compensation package. ?Please note Turner & Townsend reserves the right to pay more or less than the posted range, depending on candidate's experience and qualifications.
