Entry-Level Microbiology Lab Analyst - Salt Lake City, UT

Location: Salt Lake City, UT 84123

Schedule Available:

Training Period (First 2-3 Weeks): Monday to Friday, 8:00 am - 4:30 pm.Regular Schedule (After Training): Monday to Friday, 9:00 am - 5:30 pm.

Pay:

$21.00/hr

Job Summary

Join our premier client in Salt Lake City as an Entry-Level Microbiology Lab Analyst! Perfect for recent graduates or those starting their microbiology careers, this role supports critical lab functions and environmental monitoring tasks.

Responsibilities

Assist with prep work for microbiology testing

Perform water testing and environmental monitoring in a hooded, benchtop laboratory environment

Conduct incubation, membrane filtration, and test preparation

Perform colony enumeration

Utilize a manifold for sample processing

Execute additional duties as assigned

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Biology, Microbiology, Chemistry, or related field

Coursework, experience, or demonstrated interest in microbiology

6+ months of production lab experience preferred

Must not have allergies to latex or antibiotics

Must not be colorblind

Able to maintain short nails (no long nails that could puncture gloves
