Overview
This highly responsible position serves as Project Manager and primary contact for LSBN Schools of Nursing and Educational Programs. Additionally, under the leadership of the CEO, the position will provide high-level confidential administrative support for the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and act as a liaison to the LSBN Board of Directors.
Incumbent must possess and utilize knowledge relative to the Nurse Practice Act and the Administrative Rules of the Board relative to Schools of Nursing. The incumbent is expected to work collaboratively and communicate frequently with internal and external staff and stakeholders

Minimum Qualifications
Four years of experience in administrative services.
EXPERIENCE SUBSTITUTION:
Every 15 semester hours earned from an accredited college or university will be credited as six months of experience.

Job Duties and Other Information
Job Duties:
Works collaboratively with the CEO, Chief Credentialing Officer, and staff to ensure that Schools of Nursing comply with the educational standards for undergraduate and graduate programs. Receives and conducts initial staff review of faculty qualifications, faculty exceptions, and clinical facility surveys. Creates and maintains all Board-approved Schools of Nursing forms.
Requests and reviews additional information as needed. Receives and conducts initial staff review of Annual Reports from Schools of Nursing. Requests and collects additional information from Schools of Nursing as needed.
Evaluates all documentation received from in-state and out-of-state Schools of Nursing who are seeking programmatic approval from LSBN Board of Directors.
Requests and receives additional information as needed. Prepares documents and agenda sheets for presentation to LSBN Board of Directors regarding same.
Retrieves and reviews Pearson Vue Reports for each School of Nursing to monitor school performance and NCLEX scores. Prepares analytics and summary reports for presentation to the board of directors.
Compose correspondences to Schools of Nursing, continuing education providers, and other relevant individuals and institutions to document compliance with Rules and Regulations and/or board decisions.
