Our client, a leading manufacturing organization in Conroe, TX, is seeking a dedicated Industrial Cleaner to join their dynamic team. As an Industrial Cleaner, you will provide essential housekeeping support to production lines by maintaining a clean, safe, and organized manufacturing environment. This role focuses on waste removal, floor cleaning, and general housekeeping tasks while working safely around moving equipment and production operations.

Job Title: Industrial Cleaner

Location: Conroe, TX

Pay Range: $18.00 per hour

Shift: Must be able to work 12-hour shift rotation, weekends and holidays! Onsite - 12-Hour Shifts rotational shifts 6:00AM - 6:30PM and 6:00PM to 6:30AM

What's the Job?

Operate manufacturing machinery safely and efficiently to meet production goals

Inspect finished products for quality and adherence to specifications

Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting on equipment

Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment

Collaborate with team members to optimize production processes

Daily Responsibilities

Remove paper waste from production lines and transport it using large trash carts

Operate balers, compactors, and related machinery safely and efficiently

Move waste bales to designated trash areas using a pallet jack

Maintain cleanliness of production floors, walkways, and warehouse edges by sweeping and removing debris

Empty trash containers throughout the warehouse at least once per shift or as needed

Perform special cleaning tasks, including scrubbing floors, working in wet areas, and scraping floors

Assist in rewinder and packing areas, including stripping waste rolls using utility knives and cut-resistant gloves

Support general housekeeping efforts for special projects or coverage needs

Use cleaning tools, electrical hand tools, and compressed air to complete assigned tasks

Maintain a high level of attention to detail and safety while working around moving equipment

Communication Requirements

Ability to communicate effectively and follow verbal, written, and audio instructions

Ability to read and understand safety signs, processes, and procedures

Technical Skills

Basic technical ability or willingness to learn operation of simple machinery (e.g., baler and compactor)

Experience using small hand tools, both manual and electric, preferred

Safety Requirements

Ability to follow all company safety policies

Proper use of required personal protective equipment (PPE) at all times

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent

Reliable attendance

Ability to work 12-hour rotational shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays
