SUMMARY:

Works independently to prepare and processes accounts payable purchase orders, invoices

and receives accounts receivable monies, prepares and processes payroll and provides clerical services to

the Building, Vehicle and HVAC Maintenance Department. Prepares and processes maintenance

purchase orders for the Adult Justice Center. Oversee employee orientation and maintain the working

office of the department and provide budget spreadsheets and reports

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIESinclude the following:

Accounts Payables/Receivables, Payroll, office management, performs clerical work. Other related duties may be assigned.

40% Requisition and process purchase orders in the computer system for Building and HV AC repair,

maintenance, yearly contracts and outside contracted services for the following County buildings:

Administration, Stone, Court House, Adult Justice Center, Agricultural, Family Court, Veteran's

Services, 911, Court of Appeals, Board of Elections, Board of Health, Eastern District Court, Dog

Pound, 159/185 East Market St., Central District Court, Highway Engineers Cortland and N. River Rd.

locations, Law Library, Job and Family Services, Metro Parks and the Trumbull Geauga Solid Waste.

Requisition and process purchase orders for the in-house and outside contracted repairs for the

Vehicle Maintenance division. Process new Vendor documentation. Invoice various departments

for reimbursement and maintain payment records.

40% Prepare and process payroll for Building, Vehicle and HVAC Maintenance. Maintain sick, vacation,

compensatory time and overtime records, Worker's Compensation files, FMLA approvals, employee license certification files and disciplinary records. Process updates and maintains Personnel Actions in the Munis System. Reconcile Kronos time keeping system for payroll processing, Responsible for researching, calculating and providing all related paperwork in regard to any payroll problems and/or questions for the aforementioned departments.

10% Maintains 2 Disaster recovery flash drives, Orientation of new employees, Researches and prepares

yearly department payroll and accounting budget. Maintenance of records and Records Disposal,

8% Receives and dispatches calls on problem work orders, receives, routes calls and complaints to

proper parties, answers questions from various county departments and outside vendors. Retrieve work orders and post for repairmen. Create work orders for departments without access. Types correspondence, schedules meetings and appointments, Orders office supplies as needed. Sorts and reroutes daily mail. Typing as needed.

2% Assist in preparation and completion of inventory reports. Assist with snow removal.
