You will be the Manufacturing Associate Manager for the Production Operations Team. Our team is responsible for delivering high-quality products while driving continuous improvement in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

What You Will Be Doing

As the Manufacturing Associate Manager you will be responsible for leading supervisors, support staff, and manufacturing technicians to meet safety, quality, cost, and schedule goals.

Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:

Recruiting, selecting, training, and developing team members.

Managing performance assessments, work assignments, cross-training, and recognition/disciplinary actions.

Collaborating with cross-functional partners (engineering, quality, planning, maintenance, ESH) to execute core metrics.

Driving a continuous-improvement mindset and cultivating a high-performing work environment.

Ensuring customer requirements and business objectives are consistently met.

MUST BE A U.S. CITIZEN - The selected candidate must be able to obtain a secret clearance.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree from an accredited college, or equivalent experience/combined education

Experience in a manufacturing or production environment

Previous leadership experience

Appropriate acumen to successfully interact with Program Senior Management, Sr. Management, HR, and Union Leadership.

Demonstrated skills in team building and leading.

Ability to obtain US Government-issued Secret Security Clearance.

Desired Skills:

Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience

Proficient in SAP

Greenbelt Certification

Knowledge of CBA and interaction with Union Leadership

-Experience in:

First line supervision

Collective Bargaining Agreement

Programmatic/Operations cost and estimating

Driving continuous improvement/cost reduction activities

Security Clearance Statement: This position requires a government security clearance, you must be a US Citizen for consideration.

Clearance Level: Secret

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: 4x10 hour day, 3 days off per week
