Customer Service / Scale Operations Technician

We are looking to hire a Customer Service / Scale Operations Technician to become part of the recycling team in Appleton, WI. You will support the Recycling Center operations as the primary point of contact, ensuring smooth transaction processing, effective communication, and excellent customer service. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong communication skills, reliability, and a proactive attitude, which will align successfully within the organization.

Job Title: Customer Service Representative

Location: Appleton, WI

Pay Range: $22.61

Shift: 7:30 am - 4:00 pm

What's the Job?

Serve as the primary point of contact at the Recycling Center, greeting visitors and providing directions

Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently, including issuing receipts and preparing bank deposits

Assist customers with questions about recycling procedures, site programs, and hazardous materials

Operate computer software for data entry, shipping coordination, and record keeping

Monitor and record commodity transactions, ensuring proper accounting and tracking of materials

Willingness to learn site operations, shipping procedures, and safety protocols
