We are looking for an hands-on assistant controller or experienced Senior Accountant to join a global manufacturing organization in the Horsham Pennsylvania area. This position plays a key role in maintaining accurate financial records, supporting timely reporting, and helping the business meet regulatory and corporate accounting standards. The ideal candidate brings strong technical accounting expertise, sound judgment, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline-driven environment.

Responsibilities:

Lead the monthly close cycle by reviewing and recording accounting activity across assets, liabilities, income, and operating costs.

Perform detailed reconciliations for balance sheet and bank accounts, maintain the general ledger, and prepare supporting schedules for financial review.

Compile financial statements and assemble audit-ready documentation to support external reporting and year-end audit activities.

Monitor reporting obligations to ensure compliance with applicable government requirements and prepare related cost or regulatory submissions as needed.

Apply internal controls and accounting policies consistently while ensuring work aligns with legal requirements and approval authorities.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and consolidated reporting activities for multiple entities or subsidiaries.

Contribute to process improvements, ad hoc analysis, and special accounting initiatives that strengthen financial operations.

Maintain discretion when handling sensitive financial information and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Requirements - Bachelor's degree in Accounting.

At least 5 years of progressive accounting experience, with strong exposure to senior-level accounting responsibilities.

Hands-on experience with month-end close, journal entries, general ledger management, and account reconciliations.

Demonstrated ability to manage full-cycle accounting activities, including reporting, budgeting, and forecasting.

Experience supporting accounting operations for multiple business units, entities, or subsidiaries.

Proficiency with Microsoft Excel and working knowledge of other Microsoft Office applications.

Familiarity with ERP systems such as Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations; experience with Deltek is a plus.

Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to work both independently and collaboratively under tight deadlines.
