Electrical Engineer

Position Overview:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Electrical Engineer with strong industrial controls experience to design, implement, and support automation projects. You will have a hands-on role from concept through commissioning, collaborating with engineering and production teams to deliver robust solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

Design and develop electrical control systems, including PLC, HMI, and SCADA programming

Create detailed electrical schematics and panel layouts using AutoCAD or equivalent software

Specify, select, and integrate sensors, actuators, and control hardware

Troubleshoot control system issues during build, test, and commissioning phases

Lead or support project execution, including documentation, FAT, and onsite startup

Ensure compliance with industry standards and safety regulations (NFPA, NEC, UL, etc.)

Provide technical support and training to clients and internal staff

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field

3+ years of experience in industrial controls engineering

Proficiency with PLC platforms (e.g., Allen-Bradley, Siemens, Schneider)

Experience with HMI/SCADA software and networked control systems

Strong knowledge of electrical codes, panel design, and wiring practices

Demonstrated problem-solving and project management skills

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
