Director, Supply Chain Strategy

The Director, Supply Chain Strategy will lead the development and execution of TerraPowers global supply chain strategy to deliver the Natrium sodium-cooled fast reactor demonstration and future commercial SMR fleet. They will build a resilient, cost-effective, and nuclear-qualified supplier base that supports factory-built modular construction, meets ASME and nuclear quality standards, and enables rapid deployment. This role will report directly to the VP, Commercial Supply Chain.

Responsibilities

Develop and own the end-to-end sourcing strategy for long-lead nuclear components, structural modules, fuel cycle materials, and balance-of-plant equipment.

Identify, qualify, and onboard suppliers capable of meeting nuclear-grade requirements, including forging, fabrication, and specialty materials for sodium systems.

Build, develop and lead a high-performing sourcing team focused on competitive bidding, cost modeling, and long-term supplier partnerships.

Drive supply chain risk mitigation, including geopolitical, single-source, capacity, and quality risks with clear contingency plans.
