Working effectively with mission partners to achieve continuity of operations (COOP) goals and maturity. Analyzes risks, issues, non-compliance, and process improvement opportunities to improve continuity of operations readiness. Developing new ideas, products, or processes to improve continuity program readiness. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications One year of applicable experience that demonstrates the competencies necessary for immediate success in this position at the GS-13 grade level and that would be considered equivalent to work normally performed at the next lower grade level (GS-12) in the federal service which demonstrates the ability to perform the duties of the position, is required. Specialized experience is defined as: Experience overseeing continuity of operations sites and the readiness of information and communications technology (ICT) used in support of continuity of operations. Experience in continuity communications readiness testing and implementing OSTP/OMB D-16-1 requirements. Volunteer Experience: Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual, community, student, social). Volunteer work helps build critical competencies, knowledge, and skills and can provide valuable training and experience that translates to paid employment. You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Education Education is not substitutable for specialized experience for this grade level. Telework availability will be based upon the mission requirements and supervisory determination.
