Join our first-class team to reinvent in-flight experience. In the role of Master Scheduler, you'll play a pivotal part on our Supply Chain team. Responsible for aligning demand with production capacity, developing and managing master schedules, maintaining work-in-process (WIP) targets, and driving supply chain and operational decisions based on backlog and forecast data. The Aftermarket Master Scheduler operates with a high degree of autonomy, leveraging strong analytical and problem-solving skills to generate, analyze, and deliver insights that support leadership decision-making within a high-mix, low-volume aftermarket manufacturing environment.
Summary of Duties:
Perform rough-cut capacity planning and scenario analysis to assess operational risks, identify production and supply chain constraints, and recommend adjustments to meet evolving business conditions
Develop and maintain master production schedules within a high-mix, low-volume aftermarket manufacturing environment to support efficient operations, achieve daily sales targets, and ensure on-time customer delivery
Utilize ERP and planning tools to monitor schedule adherence, analyze performance data, and drive continuous improvements in planning accuracy and operational effectiveness
Ensure master data integrity and proactively enhance ERP data structures and fields to improve MRP performance
Align production capacity with current and projected demand by evaluating labor, equipment, and material constraints to support effective planning and execution
Collaborate with program management, sales, and analytics teams to translate demand forecasts into actionable production and planning strategies
Partner with supply chain teams to ensure material availability aligns with production schedules while minimizing shortages and excess inventory
Work closely with production teams to level-load operations, proactively mitigate bottlenecks, and optimize insourcing and outsourcing strategies
Lead and participate in Sales and Operations Planning (S&OP) processes to integrate demand, supply, and capacity plans into a cohesive operational strategy
Enhance reporting capabilities to identify constraints, enable proactive decision-making, and support planning, purchasing, and operational improvements
Maintain strong organizational and time management skills, with the ability to adapt to rapidly changing priorities and demand requirements
Provide regular updates on scheduling and capacity planning to stakeholders, including leading cross-functional meetings with management
Serve as a subject matter expert and ERP key user, mentoring and supporting the broader aftermarket planning team
Execute additional projects and responsibilities as assigned by management

The expected salary range for this position is between $85,660 - $134,610 USD. Actual compensation will be determined based on experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
Candidate skills & requirements
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor's degree
Experience: Minimum 7+ years of experience in production planning or supply chain analytics in an aerospace, automotive or mechanical manufacturing environment with the ability to lead and influence others.
Computer Skill:
Advanced knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Other Skills:
Power BI
Knowledge of production planning and production scheduling best practices and principles is required
Strong written and verbal business communications abilities; must be comfortable delivering information to all levels of the organization including senior leadership
Proven ability to generate complex integrated master schedules in a formal reporting environment
Familiarity with project management concepts
Self-starter with ability to drive improvement, meet timeliness, and work with others to accomplish objectives

Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, or related field
APICS Certification
Six Sigma green or black belt
Previous project management experience
