As a Lead Electrical Engineer within the Generator & Electrical Systems (GES) organization, you will lead the delivery of high-impact, high-quality electrical engineering solutions across both ITO and OTR work scopes. This role offers the opportunity to work on critical projects that power industries, strengthen infrastructure, and enable the global energy transition. You will own electrical design and execution for complex projects involving execution of power system studies and development of 1-Line diagram development, L&/MV distribution equipment definition, load list creation, cabling support, and overall electrical change management. Working in a global, cross-functional environment, you will collaborate with other adjacent teams to solve complex technical challenges, drive standardization, and deliver reliable, customer-focused solutions. You will play a key role in ensuring projects are executed on time with quality, speed, and cost efficiency. This role requires strong technical depth, leadership capability, and a structured, detail-driven approach, paired with a proactive problem-solving mindset. You will shape execution & design strategies, drive continuous improvement, and champion safe, lean, and efficient engineering practices.

Key Responsibilities
-Lead electrical engineering activities for project execution, including electrical
equipment, cabling, interconnections, and system integration.
-Develop and review electrical calculations, specifications, drawings, and technical documentation.
-Ensure high-quality, on-time delivery of engineering scope in line with customer requirements, applicable standards, and design practices.
-Provide technical leadership to resolve engineering issues across design, manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and site support.
-Partner with cross-functional teams, customers, and suppliers to deliver integrated solutions and drive project outcomes.
-Support design reviews, root cause analysis, technical risk management, and engineering changes.
-Advance continuous improvement, standardization, and Lean practices to improve quality, delivery, and productivity.
-Contribute technical expertise to product development, design evolution, and broader engineering initiatives.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related discipline from an accredited college or university.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical engineering, power systems, or related project engineering.
Minimum of 5 years of experience in electrical equipment specification, sizing, integration, and technical problem-solving.
Desired Characteristics
-Advanced degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical workstreams and deliver results in a matrixed environment.
-Experience in power generation, balance of plant, or industrial electrical systems.
-Knowledge of IEC, ANSI, and other applicable electrical codes and standards.
-Experience with commissioning, site support, design reviews, and continuous
improvement tools or methodologies.

For candidates applying to a U.S. based position, the pay range for this position is between $98,400.00 and $164,000.00. The Company pays a geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. The specific pay offered may be influenced by a variety of factors, including the candidate's experience, education, and skill set.
Bonus eligibility: discretionary annual bonus.
