Responsibilities

Process customer orders by using company pricing and commission practices

Provide order information, expedite, cancel and change orders

Verifies and determines product specifications

Determines appropriate delivery method based on customer's need and schedules order fulfillment date by using company published lead times

Determine best method to resolve basic customer service problems to ensure customer satisfaction

Building strong and trusting relationships with customers

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience

1-2 years prior experience in a customer service or call center environment required, with a demonstrated ability to handle high call volumes and deliver exceptional service

Previous plumbing background experience either in sales or general plumbing is a plus

A strong aptitude for troubleshooting is strongly desired

Must be motivated and able to work independently

Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written

Possess strong PC skills (i.e. Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Pleasant and friendly phone attitude

Collaborative team player

Symmons offers a competitive compensation package including excellent benefits and a 401k plan with 100% match up to the first 6% of eligible wages with immediate vesting. The pay range reflects our good faith estimate at the time of posting and does not guarantee a specific wage. Actual pay will depend on skills, experience, and other job-related factors.
