Job Summary
This position serves as the primary HR liaison for the College, coordinating personnel processes and ensuring compliance with university policies. The role also oversees financial reconciliation, supporting accurate financial management and efficient administrative operations across the College.
Responsibilities
Serve as the College HR liaison between academic departments, the Dean's Office, and central HR; coordinate hiring, onboarding, personnel actions, and payroll processes in compliance with university policies
Reconcile and monitor all college financial transactions, including procurement, payroll, and operating expenses, ensuring accuracy, proper account coding, and adherence to approved budgets
Prepare and analyze financial reports to support decision-making and budget management; identify discrepancies and recommend adjustments as needed
Coordinate procurement and financial operations, including purchasing, invoice processing, and maintenance of accurate financial records
Interpret and implement university policies, federal regulations, and contractual requirements; develop and maintain standard operating procedures to ensure consistency and compliance
Provide guidance and training to departments on HR and financial processes, supporting effective and efficient operations across the College

Minimum Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or a related field, or equivalency (one year of education can be substituted for two years of related work experience). Three years experience that includes specific involvement in maintaining complex financial records, developing and monitoring departmental budgets and preparing related reports; and demonstrated organizational, human relation and effective communication skills.
