Job Title: Solar Installer - Multi-Family New Construction

Job Description

This role focuses on installing solar panels on new multi-family residential construction projects. You will work as part of a field installation team, performing hands-on general labor and construction tasks on pitched roofs to safely and efficiently complete solar installations.

Responsibilities

Install solar panels and related components on new multi-family residential construction projects.

Perform general labor and construction tasks to support the solar installation process.

Work safely and confidently on pitched roofs while following all fall protection procedures.

Use hand tools and power tools to assemble, mount, and secure solar equipment.

Assist with staging, loading, and moving materials and equipment on the job site.

Follow installation plans, instructions, and safety guidelines provided by site leadership.

Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area throughout the project.

Collaborate with other crew members to complete daily production goals on schedule.

Essential Skills

Experience with residential solar installation.

General labor or construction work.

Ability to work safely and effectively on pitched roofs.

Proficient use of hand tools and power tools.

Understanding and adherence to fall protection practices.

Capability to perform physically demanding tasks in an outdoor environment.

Additional Skills & Qualifications

Previous experience in residential installation on new construction projects.

Comfort working at heights and in various weather conditions.

Strong teamwork and communication skills on active construction sites.

Reliability and punctuality to support a consistent project schedule.

Work Environment

This is an outdoor, field-based role on active construction sites. You will work in the elements, including varying weather conditions, primarily on pitched residential roofs. The schedule follows a 4-day workweek (4/10s), and the assignment is expected to last approximately 6-8 weeks. Work involves regular use of hand tools, power tools, and fall protection equipment, with attire suitable for construction work and outdoor conditions.

This is a Contract position based out of Norco, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $28.00 - $28.00/hr.
