Class B Driver - Local Routes | No Weekends | Steady Hours

We're looking for a reliable Class B Driver who enjoys more than just being behind the wheel. This role blends local driving with hands-on warehouse work , making it ideal for someone who likes variety in their day and takes pride in supporting customers and teammates alike. What You'll Do

As a Class B Driver, you'll be a key part of our daily operations, ensuring timely deliveries while supporting warehouse activities when routes are complete.

Driving & Customer Service

Safely operate a Class B truck on local routes to deliver products to shops and job sites.

Pick up and recover materials from customer locations and job sites as assigned.

Provide friendly, professional service during deliveries and pickups-our drivers are the face of the company.

Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns promptly.

Maintain accurate logs and records using an Electronic Logging Device (ELD) .

Warehouse Support

Assist with loading and unloading trucks, ensuring accuracy and care with all products.

Support warehouse operations such as order picking, shipping, receiving, and inventory tasks .

Follow all safety policies and procedures while working on the road and in the warehouse.

What We're Looking For

Required

Valid Class B Driver's License with a clean or insurable driving record.

Experience operating commercial vehicles and handling loading/unloading tasks.

Ability to safely lift and move materials up to 100 lbs. (occasionally) .

Comfort using an ELD system for compliance and recordkeeping.

Willingness to assist with general warehouse duties as needed.

High school diploma or GED preferred.

Nice to Have

Knowledge of plumbing and/or heating products .

Experience in a warehouse, shipping/receiving, inventory control, or general labor role.

CDL driving experience beyond Class B.

Strong communication skills and a customer-first mindset.

Work Schedule & Environment

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM

Environment: Combination of on-the-road driving and warehouse work

Warehouse conditions may include moving equipment, moderate noise, vibration, fumes, and airborne particles.

This is a physically active role , involving lifting, loading, unloading, and material handling.

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Duluth, MN.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $26.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
