Water Truck Driver

This position requires a Class-A CDL with Tanker endorsement. The position is for a Water Truck Driver that can also run equipment and assist with labor.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

Act and drive in a professional manner at-all-times.

Be responsible for DOT compliance, and regulations.

Maintain vehicle in a safe manner in accordance with company and governmental standards.

Ability to work overtime as needed. Monday through Friday as the business requires.

Show up to work every day, on time and ready to work.

Strict adherence to Federal Cell phone policy.

Display a professional and courteous attitude to co-workers, supervisors, and the general public at -all-times

Must be willing to work nights and weekends if or when necessary.

Report to the assigned job site in proper attire and ready to begin work at the designated start time.

Keep time and material records.

Will need to assist Equipment Operators and Laborers at various job sites as needed. May perform physical tasks involved with laying pipe and utility lines, and/or tasks involved with foundation and trench excavation.

Qualifications

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Valid Class 'A' or CDL License No Permits, Tanker Endorsement required

Must be able to drive a manual transmission. No E Restriction

Motor Vehicle Record that meets Company Insurance Requirements

Must pass a DOT Physical and maintain medical certificate

Must be registered with FMCSA Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse and meet testing requirements.

Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, and emails/texts. Ability to write simple correspondence.

Reliable and professional.

Experience with safely loading, unloading, securing and transporting equipment.

Ability to repetitively lift to 50 lbs.

The employee is frequently required to sit, stand, climb, use hands to signal and handle equipment. The employee is occasionally required to walk, crawl, kneel, bend, and reach with hands and arms above their shoulders. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move anywhere up to 50-75 lbs. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.

While performing the duties of this Job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts, outside weather conditions and vibration. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
