Position Summary

As a Data Analytics College Aide, you will play a crucial role in supporting the department's efforts to analyze and assess the effectiveness and efficiency of its operations. You will work to collect, organize and analyze large amounts of data from various sources to provide insights and recommendations that aid in decision-making and strategic planning.

Responsibilities

-Assist in collecting, organizing and analyzing large datasets using statistical methods and data visualization techniques.

-Collaborate with team members to identify trends, patterns and insights from data to support key strategic decisions.

-Utilize Tableau, Excel, and other analytical tools to enter, manipulate and clean data to conduct accurate and meaningful analysis.

-Develop and maintain dashboards and reports to track and monitor key performance indicators.

-Assist in the preparation and presentation of data findings to various stakeholders within TRS.

-Participate in cross-functional projects and contribute to the continuous improvement of data analytics processes and systems.

Qualifications

For Assignment Level I:

Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school. Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school.

For Assignment Level II (Information Technology):

For Assignment Level III (Information Technology Fellow):

Matriculation at an accredited college or graduate school. Employment is conditioned upon continuance as a student in a college or graduate school with a specific course of study in information technology, computer science, management information systems, data processing, or other area relevant to the information technology project(s) assigned, including or supplemented by 9 semester credits in an acceptable course of study. Appointments to this Assignment Level will be made by the Technology Steering Committee through the Department of Information Technology and Telecommunications.

SPECIAL NOTE

Maximum tenure for all Assignment Levels in the title of College Aide is 6 years. No student shall be employed more than half-time in any week in which classes in which the student is enrolled are in session. Students may be employed full-time during their vacation periods.
