As a Research Chemist / Research Engineer you will LEAD by..........

We are searching for a professional like you to join our team.

In this role, you will be working with minimum supervision for the development, optimization, and application ofdiesel vehicle exhaustcatalyst technologies to meet strict legislative emissions regulation.You are expected to lead design experiment, review and analyze testing data, process to generate report and present data to external customers or internal stakeholders. To that end, you will work closely with R&D scientists, lab technicians, application engineers, testing engineers, process engineers and proto@type sample lab. You prior experience in heterogenous catalysis or vehicle exhaust aftertreatment, especially in diesel emission catalyst field is highly valued.

Responsibilities:

A member of the emissions catalyst R&D and Application organization, which develops catalytic solutions for diesel and gasoline engine powered vehicles.

Under guidance, responsibility includes, but not limited to, researching, developing catalyst formulation concepts, supervising technician on laboratory sample preparation, working with Process Development on scale-up, designing and defining testing plan, coordinating catalyst aging and testing, critically reviewing, and analyzing testing data from lab reactors or engine benches, generating external or internal reports, and presenting to technical audience, incl. external customers.

Support and partner with customer facing application engineer(s) on various technical topics and programs.

This role will work closely with senior catalyst scientists who are responsible for catalyst formulation research and development as well as research technicians who conduct various activities in the lab.

Interact with internal proto@type sample lab at production site and reactor or engine testing teams in catalyst R&D.

Your elements for success......

BS plus 5-years, MS plus 3-years; or Ph.D. w/o industrial experience

Major in chemistry, chemical engineering, mechanical engineering, or related field.

Preferred experience in heterogenous catalysis or/and vehicle exhaust emission control aftertreatment research, development, or application.

Automotive OEM experience is also preferable but not mandatory.

Background or knowledge inheterogenous catalysis is preferable but not mandatory.

Strong communication (incl. written and presentation) skillsets.

The competitive Pay Range for this role is $90k-$115k annually. Actual pay will be determine based on education, certifications, experience, and other job-related factor permitted by law.
