Our client, a leader in the industrial manufacturing sector, is seeking a dedicated Manufacturing Engineer to join their team. As a Manufacturing Engineer, you will be an integral part of the Manufacturing Department supporting the production process and ensuring the seamless transition from product design to high-volume manufacturing. The ideal candidate will demonstrate problem-solving skills, adaptability, and a proactive mindset, which will align successfully in the organization.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineer

Location: Austin, TX

Pay Range: $40- $45 /hr.

Shift: 8:00am - 5:00pm, Monday through Friday

What's the Job?

Serve as the critical link between product design and mass production, ensuring manufacturability and scalability.

Define, develop, and validate manufacturing processes to meet quality, cost, and throughput targets.

Lead Design for Manufacturability (DFM) and Assembly (DFA) reviews with R&D teams to mitigate technical risks early in development.

Design, procure, and validate custom fixtures, jigs, and specialized tooling to support production needs.

Coordinate the technical hand-off to production, troubleshoot pilot runs, and onboard Tier-1 Contract Manufacturers to ensure smooth transition.

What's Needed?

Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Manufacturing, or Electrical Engineering.

Minimum of 2 years experience in process development or NPI within high-volume or complex hardware environments.

Proficiency in CAD software such as SolidWorks or NX for fixture design and assembly review.

Strong analytical skills including SPC, DOE, and Root Cause Analysis (8D or 5-Whys).

Ability to work on-site in Austin, TX, with physical capability to lift up to 15 pounds and work at a desk for prolonged periods.
