MIG Welder

Altamont, IL | $19-$23/hour | Full-Time | Weekly Pay

Aerotek is actively hiring Entry-Level MIG Welders to join a growing manufacturing team in Altamont, IL. This is a great opportunity for individuals looking to start or build a long-term career in welding with hands-on training, steady hours, and weekly pay.

What You'll Do:

Perform production MIG welding on various steel components

Weld in multiple positions including overhead, flat, and vertical

Set up welding jobs using fixtures and follow blueprints/specifications

Utilize hand tools and grinding equipment to finish welds

Visually inspect welds to ensure quality and consistency

Maintain a clean and safe work environment

What We're Looking For:

Previous experience using a MIG welder (school or hands-on experience welcome)

Ability to read and follow basic blueprints or work instructions

Willingness to learn, take feedback, and grow within a manufacturing environment

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $19.00 - $21.00/hr.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
