About the Role

We're looking for a detail-oriented Accounts Receivable Specialist to join a fast-paced, collaborative finance team. In this role, you'll take ownership of day-to-day AR operations, support monthly close activities, and partner cross-functionally to help ensure accurate, timely cash application and collections.

What You'll Be Doing

Process and apply accounts receivable transactions in the accounting system (ACH, wire transfers, credit cards, and checks)

Manage and oversee the credit card process, including troubleshooting issues and ensuring accuracy

Enter and maintain monthly subscription details, including payment changes, expirations, and declined transactions

Perform timely and accurate account reconciliations across all AR payment @types

Research and resolve chargebacks, declined payments, NSF transactions, and short payments

Execute the monthly AR close process, including AR module close and reconciliations

Manage collection efforts while maintaining strong internal and external relationships

Support internal and external audit requests and assist with special projects as needed

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications

Associate's Degree in Accounting or Finance (Bachelor's Degree is a plus)

2+ years of experience in an Accounts Receivable role within a business environment

Strong Microsoft Excel skills, including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUPs

Working knowledge of GAAP, fair credit practices, and collection regulations

Excellent communication skills with the ability to work effectively across all departments

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Ontario, CA.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $27.00 - $29.47/hr.
