WHO YOU ARE

As an associate manager within the Avionics Product Center, you will oversee a team of supervisors and hourly operators across multiple business units in Stratford, CT. Your role is pivotal in ensuring the assembly, testing, and control of in-process and finished goods meet company standards, government regulations, and contract requirements. You are a detail-oriented, technical professional with a background in avionics. Your leadership skills and commitment to quality make you an ideal candidate for this role

Primary Responsibilities :

Manage daily operations to ensure compliance and efficiency.

Assist in developing and managing budgets, staffing, and training programs.

Participate in management meetings to discuss business status and strategies.

Lead daily team meetings to communicate company objectives and business updates.

Ensure a safe working environment through regular Environmental, Health, and Safety audits.

Promote an ethics-based business culture and encourage employee involvement and innovation.

Experience in managing in a manufacturing environment.

Strong understanding of compliance with industry standards and regulations.

Proven ability to manage budgets, staffing, and training programs.

Excellent communication and team leadership skills.

A commitment to fostering a safe and ethical work environment.

The ability to encourage and recognize employee contributions to improve operations.

Basic Qualifications:

Experience supervising or managing within a manufacturing environment.
Experience managing a represented workforce

-SAP or similar ERP experience

Desired Skills:
Experience in the electronics industry
Familiarity with ISO/AS9100
Proven experience in a fast paced environment

-- B.S. or B.A. degree, preferably in a technical discipline

or equivalent experience

Ability to Work Remotely: Onsite Full-time: The work associated with this position will be performed onsite at a designated Lockheed Martin facility.

Work Schedules: Lockheed Martin supports a variety of alternate work schedules that provide additional flexibility to our employees. Schedules range from standard 40 hours over a five day work week while others may be condensed. These condensed schedules provide employees with additional time away from the office and are in addition to our Paid Time off benefits.

Schedule for this Position: Non- standard 40 hour work week as assigned by leader
