Job Title: Electrical Foreman
Job Description
The Electrical Foreman oversees tool installation and electrical hookups in a fast-paced semiconductor environment, leading small crews while ensuring high-quality installations, accurate layout execution, and strict adherence to safety standards. This role combines hands-on electrical work with crew leadership, blueprint analysis, and proactive planning for upcoming tasks.
Responsibilities
Lead and supervise small crews of approximately 2-5 electricians on projects of limited scope and size.
Provide general support to the electrical construction team, ensuring all tasks align with project requirements and safety standards.
Assist with the installation and layout of conduit systems, including planning routes, measurements, and supports.
Install various lighting systems, ensuring proper placement, wiring, and functionality.
Support the installation and basic configuration of control systems and motor feeders, including standard motor connections.
Perform tool installation and electrical hookups for semiconductor equipment in a clean room environment.
Analyze blueprints and drawings to understand job site requirements and prepare for upcoming tasks.
Anticipate necessary equipment, tools, procedures, and training needed to complete upcoming work efficiently.
Demonstrate the ability to complete overall job layouts for projects of limited scope and size.
Troubleshoot electrical issues as they arise, using sound problem-solving techniques to identify and resolve root causes.
Maintain strong customer relations by responding to needs, addressing concerns, and delivering work that meets expectations.
Help enforce a safe jobsite by following and promoting company safety protocols, OSHA regulations, and customer-specific safety standards.
Monitor work quality and progress to ensure installations meet project specifications and timelines.
Collaborate with team members and other trades to coordinate work and minimize disruptions in a fast-paced environment.
Essential Skills
Journeyman-level electrical experience with 6+ years of hands-on work in the field.
Active TDLR license in good standing.
Proficiency in installing and laying out conduit systems in industrial or construction environments.
Ability to read, interpret, and analyze electrical blueprints and construction drawings.
Experience installing electrical tools and performing electrical hookups in a fast-paced setting.
Strong troubleshooting skills for identifying and resolving electrical issues.
Ability to perform job layout and planning for projects of limited scope and size.
Demonstrated ability to lead and coordinate small crews of electricians.
Solid understanding of electrical construction practices, including lighting systems, basic control systems, and motor feeders.
Commitment to safety and knowledge of OSHA regulations and jobsite safety practices.
Effective communication and customer service skills to maintain strong customer relations.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience working in industrial or construction environments, particularly with tool installation and electrical hookups.
Familiarity with semiconductor facilities and clean room protocols.
Skill in bending conduit accurately and efficiently.

Work Environment
This role is based in a semiconductor facility, working primarily in a clean room environment where cleanliness, precision, and adherence to strict protocols are essential. The schedule runs from 6:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., Monday through Saturday, reflecting a fast-paced and project-driven setting. Work involves industrial and construction-style electrical tasks, including conduit installation, tool hookups, and equipment layout. You will operate in a highly controlled environment alongside other trades and technical professionals, using standard electrical tools and equipment while following rigorous safety and cleanliness standards appropriate for semiconductor operations.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $32.00 - $38.00/hr.
