Environmental Technician (Entry-Level)

Entry-level position with opportunity for advancement to Test Engineer I role ($26.00/Hour) within first 6-to-12 months. Candidates must be comfortable with travel and working outdoors.

Responsibilities:

Perform air emissions testing and monitoring services at a variety of client industrial facilities.

Record and analyze data, collect samples.

Transport and set up testing equipment using a company vehicle; dismantle equipment post-testing.

Calibrate testing equipment and assist engineers in conducting air quality testing procedures.

Adhere to environmental, health, and safety protocols.

Organize and load testing equipment into vehicles for upcoming assignments.

Gain proficiency in EPA Test Methods 1-5 using company resources.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's Degree in Environmental Science, Geology, or related field preferred.

Previous experience in a field-based role.

Team player with strong initiative

Mechanical attitude.

Comfortable working at heights and lifting up to 75 lbs.

Additional Information:

Career Path: Test Technician - Test Engineer I/II - AET Team Lead - Project Manager - Sr. Project Manager.

Company vehicle provided for travel. All travel time, expenses, lodging + additional $72 per diem are paid by company.

Expected travel is 40% over the course of the year. Typical ravel projects require 2-to-5 days out of town at most.

Overtime paid at 1.5x rate.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $22.50 - $22.50/hr.
