Summary Responsible for working collaboratively with leadership, healthcare providers, the Credentialing & Privileging (C&P), administrative Specialists and other administrative teams in managing the Focused Professional Practice Evaluations and Ongoing Professional Practice Evaluations for the C&P programs, providing guidance on processes, requirements and implementation. Responsibilities Duties: Process credentialing and privileging documentation for providers; Assemble credentialing packets for Medical Staff Committees; Generate credentialing reports (Report Cards, compliance tracking). Perform primary source verifications (licenses, NPDB, certifications); Review credentialing files for completeness and accuracy; Perform VetPro access reviews and ensure system compliance; Track FPPE/OPPE completion and monitoring requirements. Identify discrepancies and request corrections from providers; Conduct first-level review of FPPE/OPPE documentation; Analyze credentialing data trends and identify issues. Enter and maintain credentialing data in VetPro and databases; Track provider licensure, certifications, and expiration timelines; Maintain tracking systems for credentialing requirements; Track and process provider exit reviews and reporting requirements. Coordinate with external agencies (licensing boards, NPDB); Communicate deficiencies and requirements to stakeholders. Conduct audits of credentialing files and monitoring systems; Maintain documentation and audit trails for credentialing actions. Maintain credentialing records in compliance with regulations; Monitor credentialing workflows and ensure compliance timelines; Ensure compliance with Joint Commission and VA standards. Assist in implementing credentialing processes and updates; Provide guidance to staff on credentialing procedures; Identify issues requiring escalation to supervisor. Provide administrative and technical support to C&P program; Perform additional administrative support duties as assigned; Support special projects and credentialing initiatives. Communicate and coordinate with providers, clinical staff, and external entities. Extract and organize data from systems (Excel, databases); Support development of credentialing forms and tracking tools.
