Title: Embedded Software Engineer - 119729

Onsite/Remote: Onsite Position

Your Responsibilities

As an Embedded Software Engineer at Sentera located in St. Paul, MN, you will:

Develop high-quality software for our drone-based remote sensing products.

Diagnose and resolve embedded system issues and continuously refine our development processes to deliver robust, high-performance solutions.

What Skills You Need

3 or more years of experience in embedded software product development

Proficiency in C/C++ and Python

Ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams (electrical, mechanical, marketing) to translate customer needs into software requirements and solutions

Strong collaboration and communication skills

What Makes You Stand Out

Experience designing scalable and reusable software architectures across multiple product lines

Ability to learn quickly, adapt to change, and continuously grow your skills

Passion for building innovative technical solutions that solve real customer problems

Experience developing applications on Linux

Familiarity with common peripheral interfaces (UART, SPI, I2C, USB, CAN, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, Ethernet)

Knowledge of TCP/IP networking and experience building client/server software

Knowledge of digital image processing techniques

Education

Ideally you will have a degree or equivalent related work experience in the following:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or related field.
