Nurse Navigator, Oncology Per Diem

Under the direction of the local leadership, the Oncology Nurse Navigator (ONN) navigates the patient's journey (starting with pre diagnosis) and continues throughout the treatment continuum. In collaboration with the multidisciplinary team, which may include PCP's, surgeons, GYN, GI, oncologists, etc and the entire healthcare team, the ONN supports the oncology patient and facilitates access and timeliness to care. The ONN makes referrals as applicable (not limited to) financial counseling, nutrition, social worker.

Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Required: 1. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) (Note: this applies to team members hired on or after March 2024). 2. Minimum of two years of experience in nursing. 3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 4. Proficient computer skills that may include but are not limited to Microsoft Office and/or Google Suite platforms. Education, Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Preferred: 1. Oncology experience preferred but not required. Licenses and Certifications Required: 1. NJ State Professional Registered Nurse License. Licenses and Certifications Preferred: 1. Oncology Certified Nurse.

Minimum rate of $51.12 Hourly

Experience: Years of relevant work experience.

Education and Certifications: Level of education attained, including specialized certifications, credentials, completed apprenticeship programs or advanced training.

Skills: Demonstrated proficiency in relevant skills and competencies.

Geographic Location: Cost of living and market rates for the specific location.

Internal Equity: Compensation is determined in a manner consistent with compensation ranges for similar roles within the organization.

Budget and Grant Funding: Departmental budgets and any grant funding associated with the job position may impact the pay that can be offered.

Some jobs may also be eligible for performance-based incentives, bonuses, or commissions not reflected in the starting rate. Certain positions may also be eligible for shift differentials for work performed on evening, night, or weekend shifts.
