Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented Entry Level Accounting Analyst to join our clients growing team on a temp-to-hire basis. This role is ideal for someone early in their accounting career who is eager to gain hands-on experience, develop analytical skills, and grow within a collaborative environment.

This position offers the opportunity to transition into a permanent role based on performance and business needs.

Key Responsibilities

Assist with daily accounting operations, including accounts payable and accounts receivable

Support month-end and year-end close processes

Prepare and analyze journal entries and account reconciliations

Review financial data for accuracy and identify discrepancies

Assist in maintaining general ledger integrity

Compile financial reports and support ad hoc analysis

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather financial information

Help improve processes and support internal controls

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience)

1+ years of accounting or finance experience (internships welcome!)

Basic understanding of GAAP principles

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUPs a plus)

Experience with accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, QuickBooks, or similar) preferred

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills

Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
