You will serve as a Combined Trades Supervisor II in the PRODUCTION RESOURCES DEPARTMENT, SHIP DISMANTLER SHOP (075) of PSNS and IMF.

Duties
Help
You will plan overall work assignments on an immediate and long-range basis in accordance with established schedule requirements taking into consideration available supervisor, workers, equipment, facilities, materials, and tools.
You will establish, assign, and explain work requirements to subordinate supervisor, setting deadlines, priorities, and sequences to be followed for work operations.
You will identify training and qualification needs of subordinate's effects on-the-job training, recommend personnel actions, and enforce disciplinary actions.
You will maintain liaison with key management personnel in all Shipyard departments, offices, and divisions, including Production Resources Shop Process Managers,
You will be responsible for the broad scope planning, scheduling, monitoring, and certification of work within the assigned zone.

You will be required to obtain and maintain an interim and/or final security clearance prior to entrance on duty. Failure to obtain and maintain the required level of clearance may result in the withdrawal of a job offer or removal.
This position may require travel from normal duty station to CONUS and OCONUS and may include remote or isolated sites. You must be able to travel on military and commercial aircraft for extended periods of time.
Supervisors in the executive branch have a heightened personal responsibility for advancing government ethics. You will be required to review the 14 General Principles of Ethical Conduct at 5 CFR 2635.101.
Work is performed in areas where potentially harmful physical and chemical agents are present (e.g. fumes, dust, heat, ionizing and non-ionizing radiation and chemicals). You will be required to participate in medical surveillance programs
You may be required to work onboard ships.
You will be required to wear personal protective equipment such as helmets, gloves, coveralls, glasses, goggles, respirators and safety shoes continuously for the duration of the work shift.

PPP applicants will be placed at the FPL, if determined Well Qualified (WQ). To receive priority consideration, the FPL must be the same grade level or equivalent of the retained grade or the grade held immediately prior to separation.

This position requires exposure to high noise levels.
This position is subject to work an uncommon tour, including nights, weekends, and holidays to meet mission requirements. Overtime or night differential pay and/or unusual duty hours may be required.
