Warehouse Associate

W.E. Lott Company, a fast-growing importer and distributor of forgings and castings, is seeking a full-time Warehouse Associate for our Bucyrus office. This position is crucial in supporting all incoming and outgoing shipments from the warehouse. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented and have knowledge of the warehouse and can perform multiple tasks effectively.

Essential duties and responsibilities:

[Picking orders and placing them in loading dock area]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Verifying quantities on in and outbound materials]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Repair or replace broken or opened shipping boxes]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Re-boxing of products as necessary]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Receiving, inspecting, and processing warehouse stock products]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Operating forklifts, pallet jacks, and other warehouse equipment]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Reporting any discrepancies or issues to warehouse supervisor ]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Other duties as assigned by Warehouse Manager]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Organizing warehouse space and always keeping it clean and safe]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Dispose of scrap and waste]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

Skills and Experience:**

[Basic computer skills: word/excel]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Ability to learn and use proprietary software]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Proficient reading/writing/simple math]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Loading/unloading trucks]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Able to lift 50 lbs.]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[High school diploma or equivalent]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Work in a non-climate-controlled environment]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Works independently and as a team]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}

[Able to pass a drug screen]{times="" new="" roman",="" times,="" serif"=""}
