Job Title: Warehouse Manager
Job Description
The Warehouse Manager oversees all warehouse operations for an automotive manufacturing facility, ensuring accurate inventory control, safe material handling, and efficient shipping and receiving. This role leads and supervises warehouse staff, optimizes logistics and workflow, and maintains a clean, organized, and safety-focused environment that supports production and on-time delivery.
Responsibilities
Oversee day-to-day warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, picking, packing, and shipping of materials and products.
Manage and control warehouse inventory to ensure accuracy, including regular cycle counts and reconciliation of discrepancies.
Supervise and coordinate the work of warehouse staff, providing direction, support, and oversight to ensure productivity and quality standards.
Plan and organize logistics activities to support production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
Ensure proper use of forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment to move, store, and track inventory.
Monitor and maintain safe work practices in the warehouse, enforcing safety policies and procedures at all times.
Oversee shipping and receiving processes, including verification of incoming and outgoing shipments and proper documentation.
Implement and maintain efficient warehouse layouts, storage systems, and workflows to optimize space and material flow.
Coordinate packing and packaging activities to ensure products are prepared correctly and securely for shipment.
Support general labor and material handling tasks as needed to keep operations running smoothly.
Collaborate with supply chain and logistics teams to improve inventory control and reduce delays or shortages.
Maintain a clean, organized, and orderly warehouse environment that meets operational and safety standards.
Essential Skills
Proven warehouse management experience in a manufacturing or distribution environment.
Strong knowledge of warehouse operations, including receiving, storage, picking, packing, and shipping.
Experience supervising warehouse staff and overseeing daily workflows.
Hands-on experience with inventory control and warehouse inventory management.
Ability to operate or oversee the operation of forklifts, pallet jacks, and other material handling equipment.
Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes and documentation.
Understanding of warehouse safety practices and ability to enforce safety standards.
Experience using RF scanners for inventory tracking and order processing.
Strong organizational and time management skills to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and support production and logistics needs.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience in automotive manufacturing or similar industrial environment is beneficial.
Experience with packaging and packing processes for finished goods.
Knowledge of supply chain and logistics concepts related to warehouse operations.
Ability to perform general labor and material handling tasks when required.
Strong communication skills for coordinating with internal teams and warehouse staff.
Problem-solving skills to address inventory issues, delays, or process inefficiencies.

Work Environment
The role is based on-site in a warehouse within an automotive manufacturing facility in Hebron, Ohio. You will work around forklifts, pallet jacks, RF scanners, and other material handling equipment, with regular involvement in physical tasks such as lifting, moving, and organizing materials. The warehouse operates with a strong emphasis on safety and cleanliness, requiring adherence to safety procedures and appropriate work attire suitable for an industrial and warehouse setting.

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Hebron, OH.
Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $38.46 - $48.08/hr.
