Description We are looking for a detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our team in Warrenville, Illinois. In this contract-to-permanent position, you will play a vital role in supporting daily operations, ensuring smooth communication, and maintaining efficient organizational practices. The ideal candidate is proactive, adaptable, and committed to delivering exceptional service.

Responsibilities:

Process cash receipts promptly and accurately.

Accept union dues payments, issue receipts as needed, and handle cash transactions with precision.

Answer incoming calls, transfer them to appropriate personnel, take messages, or assist callers when possible.

Deliver outstanding customer service to members and visitors.

Organize and maintain filing systems to ensure easy access to records.

Prepare mass mailings, including printing, labeling, and managing postage processes.

Assist with front desk and receptionist duties, ensuring a welcoming environment.

Address member and customer inquiries, direct calls, and provide accurate information.

Open, sort, and distribute incoming mail efficiently. Requirements - Proven experience in answering inbound calls and providing excellent customer service.

Proficiency in data entry with strong attention to detail.

Ability to manage email correspondence professionally and efficiently.

Familiarity with handling inbound and outbound calls.

Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Word.

Strong organizational skills, including scheduling appointments and managing tasks.

Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
