Crane Aerospace and Electronics has an exciting opportunity for a Cleanroom Micro-Soldering Specialist at our Lynnwood, WA location. Hours are M-F 5:00am-1:30pm.

Essential Functions:
Perform advanced soldering tasks, including micro soldering, to assemble components and subassemblies.
Prepare components prior to assembly, clean components, mark, and inspect components, subassemblies, or completed assemblies.
Practice safe work habits as established by OSHA and Crane policy; proactively identify safety concerns or issues.
Train and mentor new employees and other team members in soldering techniques, processes, and Crane tools.
Prioritize daily demandas communicated by team-lead and/or supervisorfor the cell(s) they are working in.
Discuss and problem-solve quality issues with Manufacturing Engineers, the Quality group, and leadership.
Participate in cleaning of area and machinery and take part in team meetings for improvement.
Crosstrain to work on all processes within the value stream.
Identify and report issues to leadership.
Complete job-related company training courses.
Support Crane Business System (CBS) initiatives including 5S, KPI's, Standard Work, Problem Solving, and other initiatives as they arise. 'Flexible and willing to work overtime if necessary.
Any other task assigned by supervisor or management.
Non-Essential Functions:
Understand and/or participate with internal/external audits
Review work instructions for errors and/or clarification improvements
May berequired to repair/rework defective or returned assemblies
Minimum Qualifications :
Experience:10+years ofSmall ComponentAssemblyexperiencein a manufacturing environment
Minimum 1 year of specific micro soldering experience
Knowledge: Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, costs, and other techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods
Skills:Strong verbal and written communication;Proficiency in reading comprehension (understanding written sentences and paragraphs in work related documents) of the English language;Basic computer skills (understandingofbasic software)
Abilities:Accurate color vision, near vision, and depth perception and other vision capabilities required;Manipulative skills, including finger and manual dexterity;Adept hand-eye coordination and arm-hand steadiness;Ability to thoroughly interpret production or engineering prints, production planning information and assembly aids such as illustrations and wiring diagrams;Ability to work well in high paced work environment in ahigh-volumesetting
Education/Certification:High School diploma or equivalent;Fine soldering certificate or equivalent experience
Eligibility Requirement: This position may require access to Controlled Data or Information. Where the position requires such access only US Persons will be considered. As a US Department of Defense contractor, we are bound by International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR).
Preferred Qualifications:
Ability to coach and mentor as well as have input into employment process
Ability to do part marking, wrapping and packaging finished goods and transport to other work areas
Ability to ensure all paperworkand work order transactionsarecompleted appropriately and close work orders
Ability to perceive and pre-determine sequence of operations and installation requirements from sketches and oral instructions
Experience maintaining equipment on astringent calibration schedule
IPC soldercertification
Designated Inspection certification?

Working conditions could include a Class 7 or 8 Cleanroom, or general manufacturing environment
Up to7hours of Microscope Work Daily
Manufacturing operations may require the use of safety equipment to include but not limitedto:eye safety glasses, gowning, masks, hearing protectors, heel/wrist straps and any other required PPE
May be exposed to unusual environmental conditions such as loud noises

Salary range: $33.11 - $42.73.? Several factors contribute to actual salary, including experience in a similar role or performing comparable job responsibilities, skills, training, and other qualifications. Some roles may be eligible for participation in performance-based bonus programs.
