Summary You will serve as a Human Resources Assistant (MILITARY/OFFICE AUTOMATION) in the Officer Section Team of 4TH MARINE CORPS. Responsibilities You will manage the administration and functions associated with the officer commissioning programs Officer Candidate Course and Platoon Leaders Class. You will use strong interpersonal skills to affect positive relationships with potential applicants, current candidates, and personal contacts. You will serve as administrative assistant to the Officer Selection Officer and coordinate the academic calendar, schedule meetings, and coordinate travel arrangements for applicant/candidate travel. You will enter applicant data and maintain applicant/candidate records in electronic form. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Providing clerical support such as administering background screening, reviewing documents, and/or processing applicant packages for commissioning programs; 2) Utilizing knowledge of Office 365 products (Excel, Word, Outlook and Teams) as well as AdobePro; and 3) Working independently to maintain deadlines.
