About the Role
LINQ is looking for a Director of Marketing Operations to build and own the operational engine behind our marketing function. This is a high-impact, high-ownership role for someone who thrives at the intersection of strategy and execution - equally comfortable architecting a funnel reporting framework and diving into HubSpot campaign logic to find where leads are falling out.
You will serve as the operational backbone of the Marketing team, ensuring our campaigns, data, and systems work together to generate pipeline and support revenue in one of the most seasonal and relationship-driven buying cycles in B2B SaaS: K-12 education.
You'll report to the SVP of Marketing and partner closely with Sales, Revenue Operations, Finance, and Business Development to build shared accountability for funnel performance and pipeline outcomes.
What You'll Own
Marketing Operations & Workflow
Own the end-to-end marketing operations function, including campaign and inbound infrastructure, lead routing, scoring models, lifecycle stages, attribution, and cross-functional workflow coordination
Build and enforce operating cadences - weekly reviews, quarterly planning, and capacity management - that keep the team aligned and accountable
Improve how marketing teams operate by identifying opportunities to simplify processes, remove operational friction, and improve campaign execution speed
Reporting & Funnel Analytics
Own funnel analytics from first website touch through closed-won revenue: traffic ? Lead ? MQL ? SQL ? Pipeline ? Bookings
Build and maintain executive-ready dashboards that surface pipeline sourcing, conversion performance, and pacing against targets
Identify and close conversion gaps - inbound conversion rates, demo-to-BDR handoff speed, MQL-to-SQL fall-off, and pipeline velocity
Deliver actionable recommendations, not just data - recommend changes in approach that can drive growth and flag issues before they impact pipeline downstream
Marketing Technology & Data
Own and optimize the HubSpot ? Salesforce architecture, ensuring standard tracking structures are accurately configured (UTMs, campaign attribution, CRM campaign structure) and that the team has clear visibility into campaign performance
Establish and enforce campaign taxonomy, naming conventions, and data governance standards that support scalable, accurate reporting
Create dynamic audience segmentation that enable LINQ to deliver persona-based, school-specific messaging across email, website, and nurture tracks
Partner with the web team on conversion tracking, lead capture infrastructure, and lead-routing from site to BDR
Use AI tools as a core part of your workflow - automating reporting, accelerating analysis, and helping marketing teams extract insights from data
Cross-Functional Alignment
Partner with Sales and BDR to optimize lead-to-BDR handoff, speed-to-lead, and qualification logic - and build shared accountability frameworks
Serve as Marketing's representative in cross-functional planning conversations - bringing funnel data, pipeline pacing, and campaign performance into revenue forecasting and GTM planning discussions alongside Finance and RevOps
Translate marketing data into clear narratives for executive and cross-functional stakeholders
What You Bring
7-10+ years in Marketing Operations or GTM Operations with deep B2B SaaS experience
Hands-on expertise with Hubspot and Salesforce - you can build in both, not just manage vendors who do
Strong command of funnel analytics, multi-touch attribution, and pipeline modeling
Experience managing marketing budgets, vendor relationships, and PO/invoice workflows
Proven ability to build reporting frameworks that hold up to executive scrutiny
Experience supporting revenue forecasting through funnel analytics
Familiarity with K-12 or other highly seasonal B2B buying cycles is a plus
Strong project management skills - you can run multiple workstreams without dropping any of them
Comfortable presenting performance data and strategic recommendations to senior leadership
Who You Are
Detail-obsessed - accuracy in data, budgets, and reporting is the baseline, not a bonus
Proactive and self-directed - you anticipate problems and fix them before anyone has to ask
Commercially minded - you connect operational decisions to pipeline and revenue outcomes, not just process efficiency
A strong cross-functional collaborator who earns trust by delivering and communicating clearly
Comfortable in a company where the buying cycle is compressed into specific windows - you build for seasonality, not a steady drip
