Job Description

A day in the life of a Licensing Assistant at Timberland looks a little like this. You'll be a trusted member of our Licensing Accessories Merchandising team, reporting to the Category Manager. You will be responsible for maintaining the seasonal global line plan in our PLM system and providing sample control and management, in addition to other support tasks related to seasonal product creation. You'll collaborate and liaise with our Licensing Partners, Product Development, Planning, Legal, Supply Chain Operations, and other global and regional accessory merchandising team members.

Responsibilities:

Create and maintain detailed and accurate product line information in PLM as well as other milestone documents, including internal development/VLP, costing, and pre-sample/sales sample discrepancy reports.

Organize, track, and archive samples on a seasonal basis for team use and for all milestone meetings, including maintaining the team's section of the seasonal Merch Lab.

Prepare product tools for milestone meetings; organize physical product and prepare presentation boards, etc.

Ensure accurate data is provided for packaging labels; gather necessary product information, validate images and text, and update Line Plans as needed.

Communicate with the Regional Merchandising Team and Planning/Operations to action any changes to the product line information as necessary.

Enter supply orders, sample orders, and liaise with legal, finance, sales planning, and marketing on behalf of the team to address questions or issues.

Technical Skills:

Must have experience with PLM systems and strong organizational skills.

Experience:

5 - 20 years in a related field.
