Opportunity Overview
We are seeking a Senior Analyst to join our Income Tax team, a core function supporting the firm's financial reporting and compliance, and partner experience. This role works closely with a third-party tax preparer on income tax filings and is responsible for key ongoing deliverables, including monthly and quarterly excise filings and income tax reconciliations. The team also supports quarterly partner reporting and responds to income tax inquiries from across the firm, providing broad exposure to cross-functional stakeholders. The position offers strong opportunities for technical development and continuous learning, with the ability to leverage AI and automation tools to improve process efficiency, enhance data accuracy, and support a well-controlled and disciplined tax function. This role is well-suited for a tax professional seeking broad exposure, recurring ownership, and the opportunity to modernize tax processes within a sophisticated finance organization.
What You'll Do:
Prepare calculations supporting the firm's income tax compliance across all applicable jurisdictions, including U.S. federal, U.S. state, and Canadian filings for domestic and Canadian partnerships and C-corporations.
Prepare monthly tax accruals and income tax provision calculations
Assist with the review and validation of income tax deliverables prepared internally and by third-party service providers to ensure accuracy and completeness
Extract, merge, transform, and reconcile data from multiple systems and sources to support income tax calculations (ASC 740), filings, and reconciliations
Provide income tax support to partnership accounting and partner services, responding to inquiries and assisting with issue resolution as needed
Identify opportunities to improve processes and controls, including the use of AI, automation, and data tools to enhance efficiency, consistency, and data quality
The Senior Analyst will own and execute assigned components of the workstreams above and will benefit from a solid understanding of U.S. federal and state tax principles, strong organizational and analytical skills, effective collaboration and communication, and timely execution.

Hiring Maximum: $146700
Skills/Requirements
What You'll Need:
Bachelor's degree required; Accounting or Finance strongly preferred
CPA or progress toward completion, is a plus
Six or more years of relevant tax experience preferred, ideally supporting complex entities
Public accounting experience is a plus
Strong proficiency in Excel, including the ability to work with complex formulas and large datasets
What Could Set You Apart:
Experience with financial systems or analytics tools such as Oracle, PeopleSoft Financials, Power BI (DAX), Tableau, or Alteryx
Working knowledge of partnership income tax concepts
Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively in a team environment
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail across multiple priorities
Ability to learn and apply complex concepts in a fast-paced, evolving environment
Interest in leveraging AI or automation tools to improve efficiency and data quality
Candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office four days per week effective June 1, 2026. Before June 1, 2026, candidates that live within a commutable distance from our Tempe, AZ and St. Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
