Purpose:
The Manager, 340B & Government Strategic Operations will report into the Director, 340B Payer Strategic Operations within SCG (Strategic Customer Group), however this role may, as needed, provide support across all Emerging Government Strategic Operations team activities.
The Manager, 340B & Government Strategic Operations will provide operational support for new government programs & focus on J&J 340B duplicate discount strategies within the Medicaid channel. This role will be responsible for developing new processes & templates for emerging government programs, while supporting dispute resolution, covered entity engagements, and analytics related to 340B/Medicaid duplicate discounts.
Key Responsibilities:
Partner with key stakeholders to develop new processes, documents, workflows, and handoffs required by newly launched government programs
Support day-to-day operational activities & process governance related to new government programs
Work with legal partners & teams within Johnson & Johnson to drive duplicate discount engagements with 340B covered entities
Lead efforts to reconcile, research, and resolve 340B/Medicaid duplicate discount disputes
Develop and deliver key analytics & insights on 340B/Medicaid duplicate discounts that support inquiries from Legal & Policy teams
Partner with Government Rebate Operations team to track 340B policies & processes for each state Medicaid program
Engage with external vendor partners to inform & enhance 340B duplicate discount processes
Qualifications / Requirements:
Education:
A Bachelor's degree is required; Advanced degree (i.e., bachelor's degree with MBA or other @type of master's degree) is desired.
Required:
A minimum of 5 years of professional experience is required with a minimum of 3 years in the healthcare industry (Pharma or MedTech) required
Demonstrated ability to learn and adapt quickly to new strategy and operational activities is required.
Experience in working with Medicaid rebate contracts and/or data is required.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel with the ability to apply it in day-to-day business operations is required.
Excellent communication skills (written and presentation) are required
Ability to analyze detailed data trends and to understand / communicate the high-level impact of the trends is required
Preferred:
3 or more years of government, business development, business analytics, or finance experience, is preferred.
Experience in working with healthcare payers and/or with the 340B Drug Discount Program is preferred.
Working knowledge of price concessions offered through pharmaceutical Customer contracts is required
Proficiency in use of advanced data tools/software (e.g. Power BI, SQL, Python, Tableau) and ability to analyze & visualize large sets of data is preferred.
Other:
Up to 10% domestic travel may be required, primarily between Raritan, NJ and Titusville, NJ.

The anticipated base pay range for this position is :
$102,000.00 - $177,100.00
Additional Description for Pay Transparency:
Subject to the terms of their respective plans, employees are eligible to participate in the Company's consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k)).
This position is eligible to participate in the Company's long-term incentive program.
Subject to the terms of their respective policies and date of hire, employees are eligible for the following time off benefits:
Vacation -120 hours per calendar year
