Overview:

Galliant is looking for passionate and highly driven individuals to join our team of Autism Behavior Technicians!

Location:Corsicana

Schedule:7:45am-4:15pm, Monday through Friday!

What To Expect:

Complete the RBT 40 hour training course before your official start date, and pass the RBT exam within your first 8 weeks of employment.

Work one on one with kids with Autism Spectrum Disorder and use appropriate clinical procedures based on each clients treatment plan and under the direction of a BCBA

Support acceptance of neurodiversity, provide assent based care, and listen to the wants and needs of your clients

Display empathy and compassion for all clients, families, and members of the Galliant team

Effectively communicate with and seek clinical direction from your BCBA in an ongoing and timely manner.

Maintain strict HIPAA and data documentation standards.

Respond appropriately to feedback and maintain or improve performance accordingly.

Maintain professional boundaries with all stakeholders

Attend and participate in all required meetings and be on video while attending virtual meetings, especially during supervisions

Collaborate with your team members, ask questions, and learn as you go

Build positive professional relationships with the clients families to collaborate in support

Collect ongoing data on clients performance throughout sessions

Write objective session notes including, but not limited to, targets, progress, and areas of need in daily notes

Effectively communicate with families regarding their childs progress in accordance with directions from the BCBA

Who You Are:

Aligned with creating excellent clinical outcomes for our clients and improving the satisfaction of their family lives

Believes the best ABA therapy is focused on individualize care and working with clients within their support system

Passionate about working with children and display a strong level of comfort in helping children

Demonstrate a high level of flexibility to meet patient needs

Be able to bend, kneel, and crouch to engage with clients at their level

Must be able to meet all other physical requirements to keep clients safe

Be able to sit, stand, and transition quickly between positions to maintain proximity to clients and respond promptly to their needs

Be able to move quickly or run when necessary to ensure client safety during sessions

Be able to lift and carry materials and, when necessary, assist with client-related physical support

Be able to sustain periods of both sitting and standing throughout the workday

High school diploma or higher

Drivers license and reliable transportation

An RBT certification is also good to have but if you do not have one we will help you obtain the RBT certification within the first 8 weeks of employment. We will also cover the cost of the training and testing!

Professional or volunteer experience with special needs, teaching, or general childcare
