Summary You will serve as a HUMAN RESOURCES ASSISTANT in the Naval Air Systems Command of FLTREADCEN EAST. Responsibilities You will perform duties in the functional areas of staffing, wage and classification, and employee relations particularly relating to benefits. You will review and coordinate all personnel actions such as appointments including temporary, intermittent and excepted, change in status, transfers, separations and promotions. You will apply classification standards to positions in variety of lower-level clerical and technical occupations. You will act as a referral resource providing advice and authoritative information pertaining to health claims, Thrift Savings Pan (TSP) changes, retirement, leave, veterans preference, military leave, etc. Requirements Conditions of Employment Qualifications GS-07 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-06 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following: 1) Utilizing knowledge of policies, procedures, rules, and regulations to maintain personnel service records; 2) Researching information in records and review HR policies and procedures; 3) Utilizing automated systems to create and maintain records and also demonstrate customer service skills and problem solving; 4) Communicating effectively, orally and in writing, to interact with leadership and personnel at all levels. GS-06 Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-05 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector.
