The Role

Front Office Hosts are responsible for the guest registration process and communication of hotel services and information. This highly visible role provides authentic connection and has a direct impact on creating a positive guest experience. Other duties may include processing forms of payment and responding to guest inquiries through in-person and telephone communication. You'll be the face of Hyatt as a Front Office Host. If you have worked at other Hotels as a front desk agent or you have an interest in learning and growing within hotel operations, we'd love to hear from you!

Hyatt Centric Congress Avenue Austin features 246 guestrooms, 3,000 sq ft. of dedicated meeting space, along with two exciting FandB concepts including an 8th floor rooftop bar. Guestrooms feature floor-to-ceiling windows offering unmatched views of the Texas Capitol, UT Stadium, and growing Austin skyline. The 31st floor is the home of the Artists Residence, a 1,400sq ft suite and event space with an outdoor terrace. The hotels boho-chic residential design will reflect Austins rich history in music and arts, with the common areas showcasing diverse local artists and guestrooms featuring iconic images fromthe historic neighboring Paramount Theatre.

Qualifications

A true desire to satisfy the needs of others in a fast-paced environment.

Refined verbal and written communication skills

Ability to stand for long periods of time

Must have open availability - this position is anticipated to work primarily afternoon shifts and occasional overnights. Weekend, holiday and some day shifts will also be required.

Opera experience preferred

Previous customer service experience is a plus

Previous hotel experience is preferred
