As a Security Officer Patrol in Columbus, IN , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic manufacturing and industrial location, where you will conduct routine patrols, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and deliver outstanding customer service and communication. In this active role, you will support daily operations with a caring, reliable approach, working as part of a team that values agility, innovation, and integrity.

Pay Rate: $15.50 / Hour

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access control practices, and emergency response activities at a manufacturing and industrial location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and communicating with site contacts as needed.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout the location, including production areas, warehouses, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points, to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entry and exit activity for people, vehicles, and/or deliveries, following post orders and reporting security-related concerns, maintenance issues, and policy violations.

Support daily operations by completing required reports, maintaining awareness of site-specific hazards, and assisting with security-related procedures during shift changes, visitor arrivals, and emergency situations.

Minimum Requirements:

Customer service experience is preferred.

CPR certification is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
