As a Security Officer Unarmed Building Patrol in Sterling, VA , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Food/Beverage, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a dynamic food and beverage location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help discourage security-related incidents, and support access activities while delivering exceptional customer service. In this role, you will communicate clearly, respond to site needs with agility, and contribute to a caring, reliable team culture built on integrity and innovation.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out site-specific procedures, access activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at the location.

Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.

Conduct regular and random patrols throughout production, warehouse, loading, parking, and perimeter areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.

Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials when required, and observe deliveries, shipments, and visitor activity in support of location policies within a food and beverage environment.

Support facility operations by communicating clearly with site personnel, following post orders, and completing required logs, reports, and other assigned security-related duties.

Minimum Requirements:

Access control and badge experience is preferred.

Comfort using a computer or tablet is preferred.

Customer service experience is preferred.

Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.

Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.

Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.

As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.

A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
