IV Compounding Pharmacist - Long-Term Care (Closed-Door Pharmacy)

Tuesday-Saturday | 10:00 AM-6:00 PM or 11:00 AM-7:00 PM

We are seeking a detail-oriented IV Compounding Pharmacist to support our closed-door long-term care pharmacy. This role is focused on sterile IV compounding, clinical review, and collaboration with healthcare professionals to ensure safe, accurate medication therapy for long-term care patients.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and supervise sterile IV compounds, including TPNs

Evaluate IV compatibility, equipment, and formulations

Conduct clinical checks for interactions, adverse reactions, and stability

Review medication orders and recommend appropriate dosages and therapies

Ensure medications are properly prepared, labeled, and dispensed

Communicate with nursing staff and healthcare teams

Oversee sterile medication preparation processes

Qualifications

Active Texas Pharmacist License

Previous experience in IV and sterile compounding is required***

Experience with long-term care or compounded medications

Job Type & Location

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Grand Prairie, TX.

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $60.00 - $70.00/hr.
