Description

We are looking for a dedicated and proactive Customer Service Representative to join our team in Elgin, Illinois. This is a long-term contract position that requires working on-site five days a week. The ideal candidate will have prior experience in a manufacturing environment and a track record of supporting major retail accounts such as Walmart, etc.

Responsibilities:

Provide exceptional customer support by handling inquiries and resolving issues efficiently.

Manage order entry processes with accuracy and attention to detail.

Communicate effectively with clients and internal teams to ensure smooth operations.

Handle both inbound and outbound calls with professionalism and a customer-focused approach.

Maintain a positive and resourceful attitude while juggling multiple tasks and priorities.

Act as a reliable point of contact for customers, keeping them informed throughout the process.

Take ownership of responsibilities and demonstrate accountability in all aspects of the role.

Identify and implement solutions proactively, navigating challenges independently when needed.

Collaborate with team members to support the needs of large retail clients effectively.

Stay organized and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.

Requirements

Previous customer service experience in a manufacturing environment is required.

Familiarity with supporting large retail accounts HIGHLY preferred!

Strong skills in handling inbound and outbound calls, as well as order entry.

Ability to multitask and seamlessly transition between various responsibilities.

Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to maintain clear client interactions.

A positive attitude and coachable demeanor, with a willingness to learn and adapt.

Proven ability to work independently and solve problems resourcefully.

Demonstrated accountability and responsibility in previous roles.
