We are seeking a Director, Asset Intensive Industries to lead the development and expansion of a new revenue stream focused on enterprise asset management solutions beyond the utilities sector. This role will be responsible for defining and executing a strategy to evolve CGI's existing intellectual property into a competitive, scalable platform tailored to asset-intensive industries.
The Director will operate at the intersection of product strategy, go-to-market execution, and client engagement. This individual will work cross-functionally with delivery, sales, and utilities teams to align capabilities, accelerate innovation, and drive adoption across industries such as transportation, oil & gas, mining, real estate, and manufacturing. The role requires both strategic leadership and hands-on involvement in early-stage client engagements to establish repeatable, scalable success models.
How you'll make an impact
Define and execute the strategy to expand CGI's asset management capabilities into non-utility, asset-intensive industries
Evolve existing IP into a differentiated enterprise asset management platform aligned with market needs
Lead go-to-market strategy including positioning, messaging, and industry-specific value propositions
Partner with sales teams to build pipeline, support pursuits, and drive revenue growth across target industries
Collaborate with delivery and engineering teams to prioritize and develop platform enhancements
Shape and maintain the product roadmap based on client feedback, market trends, and competitive analysis
Engage directly with clients in early implementations to establish credibility and delivery excellence
Build and standardize repeatable processes for implementation, customer success, and scaling adoption
What you'll bring
Proven experience leading product or platform strategy within asset-intensive industries
Strong understanding of enterprise asset management (EAM) solutions and lifecycle asset management practices
Demonstrated success in building and scaling new business or revenue streams
Experience developing and executing go-to-market strategies in complex B2B environments
Ability to work cross-functionally across sales, delivery, and engineering organizations
Strong client-facing skills with experience supporting early-stage engagements and implementations
Strategic thinker with the ability to translate market insights into actionable product and business strategies
Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills
Desired qualifications
Experience in industries such as transportation, oil & gas, mining, manufacturing, or real estate
Familiarity with leading EAM platforms and competitive landscape
Background in consulting or professional services organizations
Experience working with proprietary or internally developed software platforms

To support the ability to reward for merit-based performance, CGI typically does not hire individuals at or near the top of the range for their role. Compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. A reasonable estimate of the current range for this role in the U.S. is $161,400.00 - $282,500.00."
