Founded in 1953, Hudson Valley Community College (HVCC) located in scenic Upstate NY is a multi-campus College with locations in Troy and Malta New York. Department: Computer Sciences and Mathematics

ADJUNCT INSTRUCTOR -Mathematics HV-ADJ-Math Fall26

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS: Master's Degree in Mathematics, Mathematics Education, or in an appropriate related field to Mathematics from an accredited college or university. Other Master's Degrees considered if at least 15 credits in graduate level Mathematics courses have been completed. Previous teaching experience needed. Willingness and ability to teach a variety of courses at various levels of Mathematics. Daytime availability strongly encouraged. Reliable transportation needed. May include evening courses.

DUTIES AND/OR RESPONSIBILITIES: The Instructor reports to the Department Chairperson of Computer Science and Mathematics, and performs the following duties:

Provide instruction in Mathematics. Evaluate student performance. Participation on departmental, division wide, and college wide committees for the purpose of building community and fulfilling aspirations of professional development is encouraged and supported. At the direction of the Department Chairperson, faculty shall perform duties as specified in the Faculty Contract.

The Salary is $1,523.00 per contact hour.
