Job Description
This role involves performing commercial and industrial electrical work in an industrial construction environment. You install and maintain conduit and wiring, perform terminations, and support both temporary and permanent electrical systems while following strict safety standards and site requirements.
Responsibilities
Install, cut, bend, thread, and run rigid (GRC) conduit according to project specifications and electrical codes.
Pull, route, and organize wiring for commercial and industrial electrical systems.
Terminate input/output (I/O) devices, including PLC terminations and other control wiring, with accuracy and attention to detail.
Assist with temporary wiring and the installation of temporary electrical devices as needed on the job site.
Read and interpret blueprints and electrical drawings with minimal supervision to complete assigned tasks.
Work safely and efficiently at heights and from lifts, including scissor and boom lifts, while using appropriate fall protection and PPE.
Use hand and power tools, test equipment, and lifts in a safe and effective manner to complete daily tasks.
Follow all site-specific safety procedures, including completion of required internal safety and equipment training prior to reporting to the site.
Ensure all required PPE, including Type II hardhat with 4-point chinstrap and cut level 4 gloves, is worn and maintained at all times on site.
Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members to coordinate work, report progress, and address issues promptly.
Arrive reliably and consistently for scheduled shifts, supporting project schedules and deadlines.
Complete any required pre-employment steps such as drug testing and verification of training completion before reporting to the site.
Essential Skills
At least 1 year of relevant electrical experience in commercial or industrial construction.
Ability to run rigid (GRC) conduit, including cutting, bending, threading, and installing conduit.
Proficiency in pulling and routing wire for electrical systems.
Ability to perform electrical terminations, including I/O device and PLC terminations.
Comfort working at heights and from lifts, including scissor and boom lifts.
Ability to read and work from blueprints with minimal supervision.
Strong focus on safety and compliance with site-specific safety protocols.
Reliable attendance and the ability to consistently report to scheduled shifts.
OSHA 10 certification, or willingness to obtain it prior to starting.
Completion of required internal safety and scissor lift online training prior to reporting to the site.
Ability to use and maintain required PPE, including a Type II hardhat with 4-point chinstrap and cut level 4 gloves.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
Experience with industrial construction environments.
Experience using scissor and boom lifts; additional lift certifications are a plus.
Ability to perform temporary wiring and install temporary electrical devices.
Strong attention to detail when performing conduit bending and terminations.
Capability to work in older buildings and existing facilities where electrical repairs and upgrades are common.
Comfort using mobile apps for training completion and time or learning management (such as UKG Ready and UKG Ready Learning).
Willingness to complete all required online safety and equipment trainings prior to arriving on site.

Work Environment
The role is based in an industrial construction setting, primarily within an older building where electrical contractors typically perform repairs and upgrades. You work Monday through Thursday from 6:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m., with a focus on commercial and industrial electrical tasks. The work involves operating at heights and from scissor or boom lifts, handling rigid conduit, pulling wire, and performing terminations in an active construction or maintenance environment. Safety is a core priority, and you must complete internal safety and equipment training, use required mobile apps for training verification, and wear appropriate PPE at all times, including a Type II hardhat with a 4-point chinstrap and cut level 4 gloves.

Pay and Benefits
The pay range for this position is $20.00 - $34.00/hr.
